Lamp

Basic Colors:

Green/Blue’ -

utilizes a mix of natural Blue & Green phosphor crystals which, combined, give the best brightness and life available. Appears off white when not powered.

FLATLITE electroluminescent lamp strips and coils

White’

Made by adding a dye to the phosphor mix during manufacturing. When energized, the Blue/Green color is shifted by the dye to appear as a pure White color of 5400 degrees Kelvin. Appears pink in color when not powered.

Color Overlays

For lamp widths of 6 inches (152.4 mm) or less, other colors are created by adhering and laminating colored gel material to the standard Green/Blue and White FLATLITE® lamp. The six color overlays are: Yellow, Red, Magenta, Green, Blue, & Orange.

Lamination

Indoor Grade: laminated with a standard polyester material that resists humidity up to 70%.

Outdoor grade: a specially formulated laminate that provides up to 99% humidity protection plus ultraviolet (UV) protection to stand up to sun exposure.

FLATLITE SKU:

Control Modules

CMD-001 Analog Interface Module

Remote control interface enables on-board dimming of lamp via interface with E-Lite Power Supplies.

CMD-002 Manual Dimming Module

A rotary dimmer switch is used to manually dim the lamp.

CMD-004 Variable Flashing Module

Two flush-set screwdriver pots (dials) are used to manually adjust the "On" time and the "Off" time of the flashing lamp.

Connections & Terminations

Any of a number of different methods can be used to very simply attach connectors to the lamp. E-Lite makes available ETCO and AMP brand connectors, but many other types are commonly used.

See Connectors and Lamp Termination - ETCO and AMP for more information.

Fixtures

Electroluminescent lamp extrusions and fixtures

FLATLITE® is inherently safe with just the standard indoor or outdoor laminate, but if it was punctured or cut, it would be electrically live. In a decorative architecture application, FLATLITE® requires a fixture (extrusion) for proper installation. There are as many ways to create a protective fixture for FLATLITE® as there are uses for the product itself. E-Lite makes the following extrusions available:

Extrusion SKU Lamp Strip Width (illuminated width, not overall lamp with) Extrusion Consists of:
